Very stupid movie...

This was very awkward to watch: so many non-sequitors, bizarre actions, and 'shoe leather' (pointless action) that it seemed like a project from a foolish rich kid with indulgent parents. Its a film thats difficult to figure, like a…

Saw this in a theatre on 35mm film. It added so much to the experience and it made it even more terrifying.

After watching 3 of Lynches films we learned the difference between a movie and a film. We googled asking "what is the difference" and it's very clear what Lynch was writing and producing. Now you see why some hate his films and…

Honestly, I don't find this film incomprehensible but rather extremely disorienting at times and increasingly sad. Who can forget Rebecca Del Rio performing "Llorando"? It's a perfect display of the destruction of the Hollywood dream.

A study in contrast at the speed of molasses. One's a survivor, one ain't.

Seems based on the comments that you either love it or hate it. This movie wasn't meant to be realistic or "make sense" in a traditional linear storytelling way. That's the hook of it for me. You can never quite get your footing and slip…

Quite possibly Lynch's masterpiece ( along with Eraserhead )- it's a dizzying journey into the dark heart of Hollywood, and of an actress living in that world.

How could Betty Elms survive such a devastating car accident in the first place? The story seems unrealistic. After all, this film turns into David Lynch's own peculiar, scary vision of Los Angels's dream factory.

No logic at all. Exaplain everything by "dream"/"drug" makes bluff, not good movie.

Deemed by some as a “poison pen letter to Hollywood”, Lynch’s phantasmagorical foray into the rabbit hole is a guilt-fuelled nightmare that slowly uncoils one frustrating strand at a time opening with a car crash and ending with….murder? …

A typical David Lynch film, with excellent directing and acting. It takes a good deal of understanding, a film which is unique and intriguing, and speaks alot about life. Plot and storyline is not given to viewer easily. The Interview…

How can there be no comments on this? Arguably the best movie ever made. The cinematography, acting, sound, etc., are top rate; and the script is beyond top rate. It presents what appears to be a mystery and then challenges you to learn…

A bizarre combination of scenes I still didn't understand at the end of the movie, possibly because one actress played two parts and the chronology was off. DEFINITELY NOT FOR CHILDREN, this movie shows women kissing and fondling breasts…

I was reading through some stuff on this move & discovered that it was supposedly an unaired TV pilot, cut together to make the movie. This really surprised me because I recently saw the movie & thought- though, it felt unstructured- the…

A terrifying and surreal thriller from David Lynch. The performances are outstanding.

Mulholland Drive might be Lynch's masterpiece. It is an opaque--although not as incomprehensible as Lost Highway--drama about the soul-sucking region of Los Angeles known as Hollywood. In it, a young actress ventures to Hollywood to carve…

Once you learn that this is a failed tv pilot and that it was all a dream, the valid psuedointellectualism, postmodern nonsense and wasted potential to rip the crap out of Hollywood all evaporate in an instant.

Ahh... "Mulholland Drive". The rejected TV pilot that became one of the most important films of the 2000s. MD is possibly best classified as a neo-noir & "Pandora's Box" style film about two (or one?) women who go on a…

Going back to this movie I couldn't believe how dated it seemed. In its day it was over rated.

OK, I've viewed this film about 8 times ... beautiful, but I never quite "got it" . This 2 DVD copy MAY be different, as things finally made more sense. MAYBE it's a directors cut or had footage added ? OR maybe the 9th viewing is the…

I came across a bootleg copy of this film that I picked up circa 2002 in either Taiwan or China for a buck and decided to watch what I knew would be a difficult viewing. Director David Lynch tends to make films that could be nothing more…
