This is a translation of the Grimm Brothers' first collection of German folk tales. I had never read some of these stories and they were quite amusing- just like a kid's story you make up in the spur of the moment for fun not worrying about how realistic or logical it is. Some of the stories end abruptly, but as the author says in her introduction, it's because there is nothing left to say. The End ;)
