Compared to the other American girls and their stories, Molly's is pretty uninteresting. (Maybe I'm being unfair, though.)

Meet Molly is an excellent book about a nine-year-old growing up during World War 2. She has to eat turnips for dinner.(yuck!) Plus, she gets in a fight with her annoying, big, CRAZY brother, Ricky. Her dad is a doctor off in England and Molly is really worried about him because England was a main target spot for bombs. [Series: American Girls Collection]
