Table for Five
A NovelBook - 1991
When Charlie Kavanagh, a film producer of modest reputation, is asked to film a special live TV documentary in Israel, he jumps at the chance. After all, he needs the work, the pay is good, and luscious Julia Cornwall is included in the deal as his assistant. All he has to do is produce the program as a dinner party with Israel's new foreign minister as the guest of honor. All is not as it seems, however, and Charlie discovers that the show is a front for an assassination attempt on the minister, whose politics conflict with more radical points of view.
