This was a fast and suspenseful novel translated smoothly from Dutch. Rex was a young man who needed to know why the love of his life vanished. It brought an old song called Skin Deep to mind https://youtu.be/Hrpf3LLu12g

One of the best and most unforgettable books you will ever read, I guarantee it!

I don't read "horror" but this was scary without the details. Or, maybe because the details are missing.

Two movies were made, one European and then an American.

Has to be one of the best books I have ever read. It will give you the creeps! It is a quick read 5 chapters long but it will hit you like a bullet to the brain.
