5/STARS!!!!! Dose Doris Mortman know how to spin a tale? yes she dose . D M is a graceful writer who knows just what she is doing- waving a compelling plot through which she explores deeper issues , such as intimacy, family secrets, wealth, scandals, hate, crimes, grief and passionate sex scenes. the story captivate me from the onset...and kept me turning the pages well into the wee hours of the morning. I finish this book in two days. FYI this book as 601 pages, and I was entertained through it all....for sure some chapters are more dramatic, but overall great great read. I know a lot more about ART and the ART world now then I ever did. If you do not feel a renewed appreciation for love and life after reading this extraordinary story you may need to check your pulse. The story is beautifully written deeply moving and touching. I cried like a baby through most of the story, I just couldn't stop . A part of what made the story so great is that the author follow the main character ISABELLE and the others through a very dramatic life spin. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.
