Prophecy can be so confusing that I love seeing how the Rapture could happen today. The only thing is that it's such interesting read that I find that I have to remind myself that this is just the author's interpretation of things and not necessarily how everything will actually happen.

Really, really good. Sometimes it gets a little preachy so I wouldn't say its a light read. So be prepared for that. But definately worth it! Good story, great teaching opportunities.

Enjoyed the read the beginning of the end times, I really enjoyed it. The taking away of the saints, the thrill, excitement. Family trying to get ahold of family members hoping they are still around and then the memories of what their loved ones had shared with them about Christ coming for His people, the guilt and the regrets takes hold of some as to "Why didn't I listen..." drama, great start to the series...

I really liked this book. It just proves that you never know when Jesus is coming back and we have to be ready.

Ever notice that the picture is of a globe burning?

Fictionalized, contemporary take on the end times largely as they are depicted in the Book of Revelation.

I have always been fascinated by this part of the bible and thought that an epic contemporary take on this would be mesmerizing.

The concept is but the execution is missing. Wooden characters, laughable dialogue and endless sermonizing mar this. The first few books have some suspense and some exciting moments but overall a tremendously popular misfire.

For a first bookin a series... alittle dull, hopefully it will improve. But worth the read. The plot does move fast. The dialogue is a little hard to follow at points in the novel. And can't help but say there is a religious sub-plot. but like I said worth the read for end of the world thinking and reading. I will be reading the next book.

Rayford Steele, a middle-aged husband, father, and commercial pilot, is flying a full plane across the ocean while contemplating an affair with his flight attendant when the Rapture happens and millions all over the world are taken to Heaven in a flash leaving all of the people who rejected Jesus behind. Chaos ensues, but Rayford is determined to find answers for himself and his daughter, also left behind. Simultaneously, the antichrist is beginning his rise to power. I found the story incredibly interesting and the ending to be downright jaw-dropping.
