Another solid Grippando mystery staring Jack Swyteck. Humorous and exciting. 7 of 10 for me.

An engrossing thriller with some neat twist and turns.

The downsides: (1) Theo, the sidekick who's more annoying than entertaining. (2) The quips and dry sarcastic wit that so common with American authors. It's cheesy, cliched and annoying. I'm going to harp on this fact in every review of Grippando's books. They're good but there are some limits. (3) Some silly hollywood like action...as if criminal lawyers have to endure James Bond like moments.

Despite these hangups it's a good book to read and definitely recommended for the mystery in the courtroom.
