I enjoyed this book because it is about something that has every possibility of being a true happening in any family's album of life. I hope Laura Dave will write more stories because she sees life as it really is.
This is an interesting story where a young women returns home to attend her brother's wedding, only to find out that he's had another woman in his life for a number of years and that he has not yet decided which woman he wants. The marriage is in two days. During this time, while trying to understand her brother, she is also confronted by her failed relationship whereby she left her fiancé (mind you, ages before the wedding details were finalized) and why she did so. A little cheesy, but interesting is how her brother's friend is suddenly a little less annoying than he used to be.
The nice part of this is her impending romance, or possibility thereof does not detract from all the craziness of the moment.
