An excellent book which attempts to explain why so many municipalities and states are in dire financial straits today. Where did that money go? To corporations, both in tax breaks and helping to whittle down the individual local tax base, while not only not providing jobs growth, but increasing the decline of the jobs base. (I originally commented on this about a year ago, and since then it is most obvious that America has reached critical mass regarding the whittling down of America, which accounts for the whittling down of our tax base. We will hit maximum critical mass of the destruction of the middle class by 2017, which is the year those interest rate derivatives come due from those miserable bankster types. 2017 will most probably be a very bad year.)
