This was ok to read, but didn't hook me to continue on with the rest of the series. The premise is interesting and the familiar Seattle setting drew me in. I like how the characters and the world were set up, but for whatever reason the story failed to make me care for the protagonist and most other characters. It made me respect them, understand their choices, but even at the very end I wasn't emotionally invested.

Harper Blaine is the Greywalker who solves problems for many people alive and dead. She is Private Investigator with a pet ferret as a sidekick. So relax and enjoy a good paranormal mystery for grown ups that always has a laugh or two.

Completely enjoyed this read, kept me engaged. I can't wait to read book 2. Great descriptions, plus it includes Seattle.
