Awesome read. I found the characters well developed, both strong male and female heroes. Engaging storyline(s) that kept me on the edge of my seat till the end of book 3! I wish it wasn't over!

This is the second Neil Gaiman book that disappointed me--women are cardboard cutouts/ciphers that are shadows/background to the boys in the story. C'mon Neil, you could do better.

I borrowed this book and renewed it 2 more times before I had to return it without much progress. For some reason, I didn't feel immersed in this story in comparison to his other works. I might borrow this book again and try finishing the remaining two-thirds but for now it's a low priority in my reading list and would rather complete other Gaiman novel reads.
