Hmm. Not my kind of book at all. My personal opinion is that Betrayal would have made a better stand-alone novel. I missed reading about my favorite Dismas Hardy character, as well as his family and friends. DNF

Found the book to be disappointing and not even close to the quality plot and writing of previous Lescroart works

Typical Lescroart: Well researched and interesting legal points. Dismas and Hardy are back, although they do not play prominent rotes in the story.
