Rufus Harm has spent the last twenty-five years in prison for a murder he's sure he committed. However, when he receives a letter from the army, Rufus' memory is jogged. As the events play out in his mind, Rufus comes to a realization: he's not guilty. From his prison cell Rufus secretly files an appeal with the Supreme Court. When the Supreme Court clerk, who is the first to see Rufus' appeal, and Harm's own lawyer are murdered, Harm knows the real killers are on to him. Rufus also knows he's quickly running out of time. Sprung from prison with the help of his brother, Rufus must elude capture long enough to expose a cover-up and save his own life
