This period is considered to be when the Stooges hit their stride and perfected their craft, when all the elements came together perfectly. When the Stooges get a prizefighter drunk, Curly has not choice but to step in and take his place. The Stooges make pests of themselves at a high society party when a maid mistakenly phones their exterminator company instead of an escort service. Working as tailors on a navy ship puts the Stooges in a pressing situation after Curley wears the admiral's jacket to a party and is seduced by a spy

Out of this first-rate collection of 24, classic, Three Stooges shorts (from 1937-1939) there certainly were some really priceless gems here of zany, slapstick comedy for the viewer to enjoy.

I'd say that "Grips, Grunts & Groans" was, without question, the biggest highlight in this hilarious compilation of vintage shorts.

In this particular rip-roarin' episode, good-old Curly steps into the boxing ring and gets his big chance to fight Ironhead.... As you can well-imagine - With Curly in the ring the situation is guaranteed to be side-splitting hilarity, non-stop. (Nyuk! Nyuk! Nyuk!)

If you (like me) get a big kick out of watching lots of eye-poking, face-slapping, pie-throwing antics, then Volume 2 of The Three Stooges won't let you down. It's your invitation to some of the best comedy-fun from yesteryear, bar none.
