this book looked soooooooo thick, and i had no intention of reading it. My sistersaid that it was really good, and that i should read it. Now, this is my favorite book. I can't wait to read the sequel! One more thing, if you don't like violence, don't read this book. THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!

It was a very cutesy-fast-paced read; not the best book in the world, but I found myself smiling every few pages and enjoyed it thoroughly. I loved Knife's perception of Paul's wheelchair - a throne. Overall, I highly recommend it.

I am delighted with both the content and the thought that went into writing this great piece of fantasy.

I have always taken seriously the books that one gives to a young person growing up. Sex and violence, blood and gore do not figure into what I would call a good story.
Totally without violence and blood, werewolves or vampires, this plot goes quickly and keeps the mind occupied trying to figure out what will come next. Most girls should get a lot out of this, too, as good morals are upheld without being corny.
Such a breath of fresh air, after wading through book after book to find one that isn't trite, bloody or boring... THANK you, Ms. Anderson!!
