The word "guide" in the subtitle is a bit misleading; this is more of a research report than a guide, but it nevertheless offers valuable insights about making the decision about whether to have children.
I thought this was a great book, and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about whether or not they want to have children. In a culture where children are considered practically a required step after getting married, it was refreshing to read a book exploring other options. The self-evaluation questions are very interesting, and make for a good way to discuss the subject with a spouse or partner.
Insightful. I didn't really find it to be a "guide" as much as just information on being a childless couple - She spent a lot of time on a study she did. Maybe too much time. I liked hearing others opinions on their choice as well. A good read.
