Lyrics excerpt - "Oh, oh, catch the buzz.... Love is the drug that I'm thinking of.... Oh, oh, can't you see.... Love is the drug for me." (Watch video)

With their motto being - "Music-Art-Fashion" - Roxy Music (a quintet of British musicians who formed as a band in 1971) are often credited as being the ones who initially provided a clear model for the experimental electronic and new wave bands who were rapidly emerging onto the ever-changing music scene in the wake of the punk-rock movement.

Headlined by singer/songwriter, Bryan Ferry (a former art school student), Roxy Music released 8 studio albums (some good, some not) before they officially disbanded in 1982. I think it's kinda interesting to note that in the early days of Roxy Music's timeline, keyboardist Brian Eno was a full-time member of the band.

This "Best Of" CD contains 18 tracks in all which were recorded by Roxy Music between the years of 1972-1982. Two of my favourite tunes are - More Than This and Love Is The Drug.
