(*Lyrics excerpt*) - "Beneath the be-bop moon I gonna croon... For you!"

British recording artists, T. Rex, headed by teen-idol, Marc Bolan (singer, guitarist, composer), emerged upon the Pop Music scene in the early 1970s where they embraced and quickly became the epitome of the "Glam-Rock" sub-genre, which also housed the likes of David Bowie.

Released in 1971 - "Electric Warrior" would be T. Rex's 2nd music offering, reaching almost immediate #1 status on the record charts in the UK, Canada, and the USA.

"Electric Warrior", which features such solid hits as Bang-A-Gong, Planet Queen, and Mambo Sun, is a perfect way to get introduced to the unique sound of glam-rockers, T. Rex.

(*Music-video included*)

*Note of interest* - In 1977, at the age of 29, with the promising career as a musician still ahead of him, T. Rex founder, Marc Bolan met an untimely death when the vehicle that he was riding in crashed, killing him, instantly.

Perhaps the best introduction to the Glam Rock era that dominated the British music scene in the early seventies. The follow -up album called 'The Slider' by T. Rex released in 1972 was equally as good.
