I learned that drag queens wear fake nipples and that someone else appreciates Patti Smith, Jean Seberg, Charlotte Rampling and Francoise Hardy.

I liked the tone of the book, the main characters and some of the clever dialogue. The premise was intriguing: a straight guy wants to dress like Debbie Harry in drag. The plot and most of the book is pretty unremarkable, though. This book did not make a strong impression on me either way. It is a very breezy read. It took me a lunch hour to read the whole thing.
