:( One of the worst books I've read. The blurb is very misleading and hints at exciting plot points that are exaggerated out of proportions (and some that don't even happen). The ending is very anticlimactic and leaves nothing resolved.

The supporting characters are very one dimensional and don't get much development. The universe is also insufficiently fleshed out.

The only good thing is that the protagonist shows modest, realistic development; but this is so lacking that I can't recommend this book for any merits. I'm very disappointed because the writing style wasn't bad.

*Great book to recommend to a friend you want to frustrate.
