This book quickly becomes wearisome. In the beginning, I was impressed with his prolific ability to describe a scene down to the smallest detail. Unfortunately, this style continued through every paragraph of the entire book. There were pages that I skimmed and skipped because they were nothing but prosaic description of what someone was wearing and what color their hair was.
I'm about halfway through this book, and I'm not sure that I care enough to finish. And that's very unusual for me, I usually finished every book no matter what.
