It's been two weeks since I returned this book yet I find myself thinking about it as I'm doing dishes, or something from the story pops into my head as I'm driving to town. This book has lingered in my mind.
It is a quiet story and gives the reader much to reflect upon about the choices we have to make in our lives, many of which we can't know the outcome for many years, if ever.
Stealing Fatima is very well written and the story line pulls you in immediately, holds you tightly through each page, then continues to work in your subconscious for weeks afterward.

Beautifully written. Not high action, but still a page turner. The character study of the priest pulls you in. The writer's vivid description brings the town and characters to life. Very memorable and moving.

One of the best books I've read in decades. Superior quality in writing, a classic. Story line current, thought provoking and constantly moving. I rarely rate 5 stars, but "Stealing Fatima" is top-shelf fiction.... 5+ stars!!!
