A very tongue-in-cheek homage to/parody of 50s horror/sci-fi B-movies. Think Roger Corman, Ed Wood, and just about anything MSTK3000 made fun of. It's silly and enjoyable and does a good job of capturing the wooden dialogue, cheap sets, and poor acting of those films. Yet because it's self-consciously doing so, it's not as funny as those original bad films that don't know how bad they are. Followed by a sequel.

Lost Skeleton is a brilliant, hilarious satire of 1950s sci-fi films. Filmed with just the right mix of bad special effects, ridiculous plot developments, ludicrous dialogue, and ridiculous characters, the Lost Skeleton throws everything at you--aliens, mutants, evil scientists, four forest animals, and, of course, a skeleton--for a delightful cinematic experience. The director, Larry Blamire, has become a cult figure in his own right.

good early sci-fi/comedy. funny but repetative. natural precurser to the much better "lost skeleton of cadavara returns again".

Recommended for B-movie fans, this spoof is a hidden gem that will be enjoyed by the whole family.

My kids love it and have memorized many of the best lines, your kids will also learn to be "partners who share"

Inoffensive humor, plenty of laugh out loud gags, and endless supplies of deadpan deliveries by a great cast.

Looking forward to the addition of "Trail of the screaming forehead" (also by Blamire and company) to the library catalogue.
