This caper story was adorable. The narrator has a real wry tone. It was very fast moving.

Kat tries to escape her infamous family of art thieves by enrolling herself in an exclusive boarding school. When that falls through, she is approached by an art collector who has accused her father of taking his private collection of paintings. Kat must decide on the best way to get her Father out of trouble, but what will happen to her and the crew of teen thieves she assembles to help her out? Very exciting read!

Heist Society is a very good book in that Ms. Carter researched art, museums (like the Henley), different crime families and how they operate, etc. If anyone liked her previous work they would like Heist Society. My only complaint is that sometimes Ms. Carter fails to describe the characters well. You are forced to guess and check throughout the books. There is a sequel called Uncommon Criminals for anyone that is interested.
