A really sweet, simple and funny story about two best friends who love each other's company, get in a fight, deal with their anger, then realize they miss each other and make up. Really charming. During the fight, I say to my toddler "They're not being very nice to each other, are they?" and he says "Noooo." Both characters go through the motions of being really angry to sad; to calm their tempers, Dolly the pig does deep breathing, and Jack Rabbit counts. They make up the next day. There are no explicit apologies or "Sorry", but they each say they miss each other, then fall right back into their antics. Can't help but smile each time we read this.
