"Feed is the first book in the Newsflesh series of science fiction/horror novels written by Seanan McGuire under the pen name Mira Grant and published by Orbit Books in 2010. Set during the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse and written from the perspective of blog journalist Georgia Mason, Feed follows Georgia and her news team as they follow the presidential campaign of Republican Senator Peter Ryman. A series of deadly incidents leads Georgia and her brother Shaun to discover efforts to undermine the campaign, linked to a larger conspiracy involving the undead."Wikipedia.

I found it a little difficult to get into this book but once I did I had a hard time putting the book down. These zombies are even scarier than the ones on TV's "The Walking Dead" and "Fear the Walking Dead" You don't need to be dead to become a zombie and even animals can become zombies (any mammal over 40lbs). Once you become attached to the main characters, George and Shaun, you are rooting for them and want them to find out what is going on and who is behind it. Mira Grant has taken the idea of YouTube, blogging, vlogging, journalism and computers to a whole new level. My heart broke at the end of this book and I hope it can recover in the next book in the series.

If you dont like zombies, you will not like this book. If you like zombies, you wont find enough of them here.
If you like to read about the future of political blogging, you might like it.
