A nice book that is called "bone-chilling" but rarely gives you that mini-heart attack you get from reading horror novels. This book appears small but it will take you a long time to get through it. Although detail is a good idea, too much of it gets the reader bored.

An author with a scary past that he describes in great detail. After losing both his parents and moving in with a man who's life was saved by the author's father, life couldn't get any bleaker until he's haunted by evil spirits in his new home. In actuality, the spirits aren't evil, they're just trying to rid the house of the evil that still lives.
