This is an interesting series with outstanding writing and acting. A great commentary on the U.S. healthcare system, too. Hey, I even learned some science while watching it. :-)

I watched all 4 seasons of Breaking Bad and all i can say if there ever was an argument to keep and improve our medicare system, it has to be this series. This series focuses on Walt White and his family when he is diagnosed with cancer and can't pay for the treatment. It seems in the crazy place that is America today, he comes to the conclusion that going into the meth. drug "business" is the only thing to do. He is a high school chemistry teacher and a brilliant chemist so making or "cooking" the purest meth. available is the easy part. The hard part is selling it and all the characters and situations he encounters is what the series is about. To say it is a walk on the dark side is putting it mildly. I know this series had rave reviews and great performances etc. but do you want to spend hours watching sociopathic/violent characters being really bad? If it wasn't for an injury that kept me 'sidelined" i certainly wouldn't have watched more than the first season.
