Found this book fascinating. I would have liked to see more photos and maps. Otherwise, a must read for those interested in such subjects.

I go back and forth on this book.

One thesis is that the Minoans are the Atlanteans of legend. I don't necessarily disagree with this.

However, the other thesis is that they maintained a trading empire that spanned the globe from Santorini/Thera to the British Isles to the Duluth area on Lake Superior.

I feel that most of the academic underpinning of the second thesis is of the " stands to reason..." kind and I just don't find it convincing.
