Wills argues convincingly that someone, probably not Paul, initiates the cult of human sacrifice in writing the Letter to the Hebrews. He also says that this is the only Biblical source which calls Christ a priest as well as the sacrifice.

A Left Wing ideologue attempts to deconstruct the RC priesthood with predictable results. Wills believes the priesthood should reflect the world. He demands that the RC church abandon it's supernatural mission and line up as a foot-soldier and conform itself to the "progressive" world view. Always a conformist "thinker' Wills never addresses the theology behind the RC priesthood. This is a book of cliches and cant.
