Contrary to what many may think, the witch hunts didn't end with Salem - in fact, prosecutions for practicing the religion (rightly or falsely) lasted well into the 1960s; and even now far-right religious groups continue their efforts with such things as book burnings. Meanwhile, Wicca has only soared in popularity, as is the widespread belief in witches and the paranormal. This book is a good survey of what was and what is now.

Too dry. No contemporary references. Too scholarly. Use it if you need to write a research paper.
