Great, heartwarming story, but the opening sequence is annoying as it isn't explained or tied to the latter story, as if they forgot about it or edited out the explanation.
Yes, a washed-up pitcher and ballplayer, but where does his temporary hearing loss on the mound come into play?
Otherwise, a tear jerker, and especially liked the performance of actress, Yoo Sun [playing the foil to the main character], who acts equally well as the most evil of characters in other of her movies. Really a versatile actress.

Wow. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll cheer, then cry some more, but mostly you'll be inspired. Best foreign movie that I've seen in quite a while. Spoiled major-league pitcher comes to a deaf school to coach kids to play baseball for real. (Plus if you like baseball, it actually shows them playing baseball, instead of cutting away.) When you watch this movie you'll just be blown away by the raw heart.
