I give 5 stars to "Dead on time" not because of the story line itself but rather the painful pathos of just about every one of these actors. Each performance calls for the most sensitivity that can be evoked. Everyone seems to be aching for who they can't truly have or to hold. Morse finding the woman he loves dead on a couch through suicide. Lewis keeping from Morse that is this dead love was the hand that helped her husband commit his own suicide. No Greek tragedy ever had more of it than the modern day "Dead on time".
