Opinion

From Library Staff

Moezzi uses her memoir of life with bipolar disorder as a platform to speak out about the way mentally ill people are treated in America.

A surprisingly funny and deeply moving of an Iranian-American activist's struggle with mental illness.

Moezzi does a great job of sharing her journey with bipolar disorder. She had me laughing and on the verge of tears. I did think the book came across a little dry at times and it was a slow read but the brutal honesty made it worth it.
