The plot is original where a princess dresses up as a male clerk to hide, but the other two books are exactly the same plot, so only read one.

Yet another winning Victorian romance from Juliana Gray, this time about Stefanie, princess of a tiny German principality, and James, an English marquis. If realism is your thing, then Juliana Gray isn't for you -- this installment features a princess disguised as a male law clerk, would-be assassins, and a murder trial. But her characters are portrayed so vividly, and the hero and heroine are always exceptionally well-matched. Furthermore, her trademark wit is present in abundance in this book -- I laughed out loud multiple times while reading. I'm running out of things to say about Gray's books, other than that they're absurdly fun.
