I could see this story being popular with college sophomore girls on a dateless Saturday night. I failed to discern the "Spectacular" element of the "Now"

This is a short and sweet look at two high school seniors on very different paths who happen to become involved right before graduation. It's a somewhat realistic look at first loves, modern families, and how hard it can be to grow up.

Slow-paced obvious teenage relationships turning to disaster movie ... not my cup of tea but I don't think I (39 year old male) was the intended target

Absolutely NOT your typical teen flick. This movie goes deeper to truly illustrate the difficulties, pain and consequences teens can face. Lovely film.

Nice well made film. NOT teen product. Very well cast 2 leads; practically films itself. Director James Ponsoldt looks like a good one. Good music. Only weak acting is by one of my favorite actors, Kyle Chandler. He’s not good as a cad. ≥≥≥≥≥ NOT a genre film; just a good one. Sensitive directing. Very good script. Made to last, and it will.

This film had so much more potential to adequately address alcoholism and the results of non or under parenting. The main character is likeable but transforms too suddenly into a wounded person.

I liked the Love relationship angle with the wide open hearted girl but this also was not played up enough.

It is a shame because the main actor was capable of communicating the story line but apparently the director wasn't up to the task.

I do recommend seeing this movie -- it's not a total loser.
Oh I agree that this was a good movie to show the consequences of always living in the NOW.

Thought this was pretty depressing and then wrapped up way too quickly.

Not a big fan of this genre but it was a pretty decent film exploring important issues.

Decent acting and a clear message re: free will and how bad choices can impact a persons future. Well done.

This film could've done a lot of good had it accurately portrayed teen alcohol abuse & consequences.

Sutter lives for the moment and learns a few lessons along the way. Good acting by both young actors. Good story!
