This has some typical YA coming-of-age tropes (it's better to be yourself and unpopular than the be popular and false, power corrupts, etc). But it also has some fun twists and mysteries, revolving around the disappearance of Amanda Valentino. And the book is interactive- there is an online community that has joined in the search, a website that drops hints, even a QR code on the back cover to give you a little more information.
So, ok, the story is light and fun and I want to see the conclusion. The meta stuff has hooked me. I'll be reading the rest of the series, as each book comes out, and frequenting the website

After 3 chapters I stopped reading it. I found that this book was really boring.
