Thank goodness the other comments reflect mine. The protagonist is sexist and transparent. The story was boring. There are much better mysteries out there.

This mystery is the second in a series featuring Belgian detective Van In , "anti-hero" dragging a lot of personal problems ( alcoholism , debts ...) and working for the Bruges police force.
It is hard to understand why this author is so popular in Europe , very disappointing...
