At just 25 minutes in length - This is actually quite a brief documentary - But - All the same - It does a fairly thorough job of giving the viewer a well-rounded look at the comic-book art of Belgian cartoonist, Herge.

Herge was, of course, the illustrator who created the character of Tintin who (since his initial creation back in 1929) has gone on to become the most popular European comic-book hero of the 20th century.

This documentary also contains some archival footage of artist, Herge who died back in 1983.

Born in Belgian (1907) - Georges Remi (aka. Herge) was the graphic artist/cartoonist who (in 1929) created the popular comic-book character known as Tintin.

At the very height of Tintin's popularity it was the single, most recognizable European comic of the 20th century.

Remi's comic books have been translated into 80 different languages and have sold millions of copies, worldwide.

This rather brief documentary of just 25 minutes takes a retrospective look back at Remi's most important work.

*Note* - In 1983 - Georges Remi (75 at the time) died of a heart attack.
