Cute, clever ending and fun pictures. An enjoyable read!
Although I love Barnett's books, I didn't really care much for this one until the end, which was clever. My son requested it more than once so he must have liked it OK. The artwork is pretty entertaining as well.
Jen Corace's crisp, colorful illustrations revel in depicting each type of bird. In true Mac Barnett fashion, things get quite silly as one bird jumbles all of the previous birds' messages into a single, laugh-out-loud, ridiculous tale.
