Enjoyed the music a great deal. Was surprised at how dramatic and flawed the lives were as the story progressed. All in all, a good watch.
Not being familiar with Franky Valli or a big fan, I knew nothing of their history. Perhaps true of all personal stories this is a little dull but did reveal a lot of things I didn't know.
The Jersey flavor emanates from this film. I wish it had stuck with that theme, and only delineated the relationships. Unfortunately, the movie also tries to portray the sound of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. It's a bad imitation, and it's highlighted during many long scenes. I cringed.
Interesting to learn a bit of the background on The Four Seasons although I'm not a fan of their singing. I liked the way the individual interpretations were interspersed throughout the movie. A good ending.
It was pretty good. Yes, it could have been better, but, let's be honest, isn't that what you think about most of today's films?
Love JOHN LLOYD YOUNG. As long as he starred, the other guys were icing on the cake, and did a terrific job too.
Yes, I want a musical adaptation in the future, but CLINT was set on doing a movie that used that and other details and not just a copy.
Interesting story and although not originals songs still quite entertaining.
Jersey Boys is not the fine film of the Broadway musical that we anticipated. Slow, talky and clumsy, not what you'd expect from Eastwood. Actors mostly ineffective.
not as good as i thought it would be, too bad, i really like Frankie Vallies music, but i found this ...
Quite enjoyed the movie and learning about the story behind the group and their music. A lot of nostalgic memories listening to all those great songs! Christopher Walken was superb as usual plus the nod to Broadway at the end left it on an upbeat feel. The special feature was a bit of a fun watch too.
