This was a stupid movie that had laughs throughout it. If I had seen it at a movie theatre I may have been completely disappointed and pissed off for spending the money but since I got the movie from the library at no cost and spent the time watching it I did laugh at some of the parts. If you are in a stupid mood where you are just looking for some sick laughs this is the movie for you.

I haven't read this book but this was a hilarious movie. Yes, it is in Swedish and you have to read subtitles. It's quirky and funny and was a joy to watch.

A European Forrest Gump tale where the old man had been an accidental influence in World history. I found it very enjoyable.

Great story but vulgar language and disturbing scenes (watch a vasectomy). Disappointing after such a good book.

Fun and uplifting--some dark humor though.

I loved this movie so much that when I was telling a friend about it I couldn't remember if it was subtitled or not. Even without words, it's so funny, madcap, campy, silly and what have you. If this doesn't give you a laugh, you may need to see a professional!

I wasn't sure I'd like this but I giggled throughout. The main character is so simplistic he makes you forget the story seems far-fetched. There were spots that were so funny I almost fell off my seat! While my ex-husband likes to say,"I don't want to read my movies," I disagree. The translations are worth it! It includes some English as well.

English narration, character dialog in Swedish with English captioning. Unusual characters & storyline with lots of humor. Reminds me a lot of Elmore Leonard,s more humorous plots. No good guys here, all the characters have their flaws, but it's hard not to like them. Put in the effort to read the dialog; it'll pay off.
