I thought this was a good read - I read it over two days, can't remember when I last read something so quickly.
An interesting idea having 26 authors write it, and it worked for me.

A good story with twists and turns leading to the murderer. With 26 authors, the book still read relatively smoothly.

This was an excellent compilation of writers and I was impressed by the detail. There are some hard POV changes, but other than tha5t an easy read.

The forward praised this book as exciting and suspenseful with a heart-stopping climax. To me this was a boring knock-off of an Agatha Christie who-done-it. It's premise was a typical "lets get everyone together in a room and try to figure out who the murderer is." The ending was flat and not much of a surprise. I expected so much more since each chapter was written by a different, well-known and well-praised author. Skip this one.

I had to read this as it contains work by some of my favourite writers. The story itself has a clever, twisted plot with people that you come to care about...or not, in terms of the "bad guys".
What I really enjoyed was watching/reading how each author picked up what was given to them so far & how they decided to advance the plot & put a little of their own spin on the characters. Amazingly cohesive, considering there are more than 20 authors.

"More than twenty New York Times bestselling authors team up to create a first-rate serial novel" - couldn't resist this review.
Read it - very well done concept and story
