The never ending mini-biographies of key players in the IA sphere become distracting, particularly as each one tends to jump back in time to an earlier epoch in the overall history of the subject. The distinction between IA and AI ( artificial intelligence and augmented intelligence) is useful, but over-hyped at the beginning of the book. Lots and lots of interesting detail though, the author must have spent an enormous amount of time and effort doing all the interviews.
