"The Psy-changeling world has undergone a staggering transformation and now stands at a crossroads. The Trinity Accord promises a new era of cooperation between disparate races and groups. It is a beacon of hope held together by many hands: old enemies, new allies, wary loners. But a century of distrust and suspicion can't be so easily forgotten, and it threatens to shatter Trinity from within at any moment. As rival members vie for dominance, chaos and evil gather in the shadows and a kidnapped woman's cry for help washes up in San Francisco, while the Consortium turns its murderous gaze toward a child who is the embodiment of change, of love, of piercing hope: a child who is both Psy...and changeling"-- Provided by publisher

Add a CommentI know some readers have not been as happy with this one because it’s more a revisit on what everyone’s been up to but I thought it was great! Part of what I love about reading a series is getting to see characters from previous books, so I loved touching base with all the characters from this world. I would have loved to have a new couple to read about but not having one in no way detracting from how I felt about this book.
I found it annoying. I really couldn't get into the flow of the story because of the constant voice changes. It's less relevant to have every single piece sewn up in a tidy piece as compared to something I can just dive into and forget the world around me. I could still hear my kids and the dogs. If a book can't drown those out and make the "mooooommmmy" harder to hear, it's just not that great. Which is a pity, I usually love Nalini Singh's books.
The gripping finale to the first story-arc of this urban fantasy series. Full of intrigue, drama, and reunions with favorite characters, it's a truly satisfying read.
