Bailey Ruth is at it again in this delightful mystery. I always find it easy to warm to the characters and jump into the plot as well. I would highly recommend the entire series for a relaxing yet interesting mystery.
Baily Ruth Raeburn is sent to her hometown of Adelaide, Oklahoma by the Department of Good Intentions. DOGI is based in Heaven, and "Bayroo" is a ghost.
Just finished reading two books about Bailey Ruth. The books sounded more like fashion magazines with all the descriptions of clothing. I found the books dragged and I soon
lost interest in them. The plots were rather weak and boring. Seemed like the books dragged and then all of a sudden everything was all wrapped up in a couple of pages.
This is a fun series! Bailey Ruth is a likeable and clever character, and the author's depiction of heaven is most appealing. If you are looking for a cheerful mystery series, this is a good choice, as is the Aunt Dimity series by Nancy Atherton. Enjoy!
