Want a beard? Well, here's the offer for you. Beard in a box. Over a hundred do-it-yourself beard styles to choose from. Brought to you by Scam-O. Beard in a Box is oddly funny, and yet it comes packaged with a good lesson too. This is because it has two distinct parts; the outrageous infomercial, and a framework which focuses on a boy who adores and wants to emulate his father. Problem is, the boy misattributes his father's awesomeness to his beard; he did the math, which for those paying attention, is a good reminder that correlation does not imply causation. The two parts are further distinguished by the words and art, which ramp up to that flashy style of commercials for the central portion. The tone for the father son bits is completely different, in place of absurdity, is sweetness; a moment between the two that sees the boy grow. Beard in the Box is tested, and certainly approved for all those young boys wanting to be like their fathers out there.

Really funny! A great read for a Father's Day Storytime.
