Road trips often bring clarity in complicated situations. And that ends up being the case for the characters in this book. It's the story of two siblings, Fella and Zany, who steal their recently deceased mother's ashes to spread them where they shared much happiness years earlier, where she ultimately wanted to be forever- Asheville. During their journey from West Virginia, they find humor in a sad situation, lots of excitement (some good, some bad), an unexpected new friendship with another traveler, and in the end, a stronger relationship with their remaining family. Never cloying, this is a genuine, easily relatable book about finding peace with the death of a loved one.
