Disgusting story. Spoiler alert: Yet another movie like Fences in which an abusive father and husband treats his family like dirt and the movie wants us to feel sorry for him. Yuck.

Goes on and on, ad infinitum. Could have been wrapped up in less than an hour and still been too long and boring. Acting is not that great. Skip this unless you have nothing better to do.

I read The Glass Castle a few years ago and the film did not disappoint. I felt a lot of emotion watching the film, and gladly rate it 5 stars.
